Hidden Harm of Google Searches

An article on page 2 of The Australian by Jonathan Leake and Richard Woods titled 'Hidden Harm of Google Searches' reports on recent research that indicates that perfomring two Google searches per day from our compters can generate similar carbon dioxide outputs as boiling a kettle. Whilst this might sound innocuous enough, those of us a already aware of our carbon footprint might be staggered to know just how much carbon dioxide 2oo million Google searches per day generates.
